What I’m All About

About The Blog…
I hated grocery shopping with. a. passion. Then one day my husband challenged me to lower our grocery budget… and I was hooked! Give me a challenge and I AM IN! Join me as I compete with myself to get the best prices on everything from bananas to band-aids.

There are all kinds of wonderful bloggers out there who create fabulous lists weekly, including just about every coupon match-up there is!  At this point, I am not going to be one of those bloggers 🙂  My plan is to give you my top picks each week for Kroger, Meijer, and CVS.  I will give you details of transactions that work out the best and even details of failed attempts at saving bucks when they happen… like when an extra helpful toddler puts back the final box of crackers we needed for that catalina deal and whatnot.

About Jill…
I’m a Christian, a wife, a mom, a daughter, and a reformed grocery-shopping-hater! I am slightly competitive, a laid-back parent but a type-A household manager. Being at home with my kids is the best job I’ve ever had. Date nights with my husband still make me giddy. I love a glass of wine while soaking in the bubble bath with a good book in hand. There’s nothing more satisfying than crossing completed items off a list… except maybe beating my previous best at the grocery store!
